Studio Policies

Session reservation:  We work on an appointment only basis in order to best serve you during your scheduled time.  Session fees must be paid upon booking to reserve your session time.  If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours notice and we will credit your session fees to the future session.  Please reschedule if you have sick children!!!

Late appointments:  Please keep in mind that your appointment will not be extended beyond your scheduled time if you are late, but we will do our best to accommodate you in the remaining time.  Please help us make the most of your time by arriving on time!  If you are more than 15 minutes late without notifying us, your appointment will be cancelled and session fees considered forfeit.

Viewing:  Your viewing appointment will be scheduled approximately 1-2 weeks after your session.  Orders will be placed and paid for during this appointment, so please make sure that everyone critical to the decision making process is able to attend this appointment.  Orders that are placed after this appointment are subject to a reorder fee.  Additional viewing appointments are available at the rate of $50/hour.  If you are unable to return to the studio for a viewing appointment, you may schedule an online viewing appointment for $59.00 and/or prepay a purchase of at least $995.00 + tax to access an on-line gallery.  If no order is placed within 6 weeks of the session, the images created in the session will no longer be available for order.

Cameras and Copyright:  We do not allow still or video cameras of any kind (other than ours) to be used during the actual portrait session. You have commissioned us because you trust in our abilities.  Please respect our creativity, skill, and hard work by not photographing any part of the session.  We retain the copyright to all images created by us.  Duplication of the images in any way without compensation to and permission from Hansens’ Photography is prohibited.

Ordering:  Payment is due at the time of your order.  Orders will not be processed until payment is made in full.  If for any reason you need to cancel any part of your order, please do so within 24 hours of ordering or there will be a 25% processing fee on the cancelled portion of the order.  There will be no return or exchange of any prints or files that have been removed from the studio.  If you have purchased a series of sessions (i.e. maternity and newborn or first year series,) no additional photography services or products will be provided unless all previous orders have been placed and paid in full.

Usage: We retain the right to use any images we create for our use including but not limited to studio or off -site marketing displays, website, blogging, social networking sites, competitions, publication, and other forms of advertising.
